Muscle wknes query
Hello, my chondromalasia is almost cured and medicine dosage has been reduced. M doing physiotherapy . Still I feel that my knee muscles are weak. I feel difficulty to sit up from the chair. Why is my knee joint so weak even after treatment? (Both knees) . Does patella disorder damage the surrounding muscles?

Due to prolonged pain there is always a tendency to use the knees less thus the muscles become weak
I suggest you get yourself evaulated by orthopaedic doctor again for muscle weakness so exercises can be changed to strengthening by increasing resistance if required
