Lupus inquiry
I have been checked for lupus before and my results were negative. Is it possible to be checked again but now have positive results? I have some of the symptoms such as the butterfly rash and malaise.

Butterfly rash and rash doesn't always symbolise lupus erythematous.
Testing for SLE should be done through ANA profile ( anti-nuclear antibody profile) or ENA BLOT test( extractable nuclear antigen). These results don't vary with time. Once positive they remain positive for whole life.
