Lungs cleaning process
Hi Doctor,
My father is smoker for last 20 years and currently having breathing problems.. Is there any medical process available which can clear lungs and make him better (other than regular medicines)? Currently he reduced smoking, but having breathing problems

Hi. I understand your concerns. He will need to undergo a pulmonary function test which is needed to assess his lung capacity to know effect of smoking on lungs which is causing his breathlessness. Based on which treatemnt can be started.
