Low grade fever
My Aunty(age 48) has low grade fever for last 1 month. ESR is bit high 90,ANA test shows +ve. She has done chest x ray its normal, she does not have any vomiting/weight loss/breathing issue/joint pain. Her doctor asked to show rheumatologist. Please can you tell me is it something to worry, and which doctor to show.

Low grade fever with raised ESR means some infection. It may be anywhere. Normally fever should not last so long. In arthritis, the joints will be painful with difficulty in movement & there may be swelling too. Get CBT done. Check for diabetes & RA test. Then consult a physician
