Limb girdle dystrophy
Suffering from lgmd she was diagnosed on 2014 and doctor had prescribed vitamins. She is taking Neurokind gold, Evion LC, Trinergic -L and Aptimust syrup. When she was diagnosed with lgmd, her weight was 35 k.g. and now she is only 30 k.g. She can't climb stairs properly she needs someone's support to climb stairs and gait walking. Kindly provide me the information about her treatment.

Hello there. I can understand your concern.  Muscular dystrophy like this is genetic and has no cure. The disease worsens over the period of time. How ever, you can try physiotherapy and exercise.  And sometimes some orthopedicians can suggest for calipers also based on the condition. But it has NO CURE. best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain.
