Left hand swelling .
Hi, my dad went through cervical surgery in December and doctor advised for physiotherapy to recover. It's been two months now for physiotherapy and recovered almost except left hand. He has severe pain on left while work out and has slight swelling on left hand. Could you please suggest how to avoid pain and swelling.

Good evng.. regarding him he should not carry heavy weight.. do some more free exercises only.. he should do finger opening closing, forearm and wrist rotation.. palm up and down (flexion extension), keep the hand horizantal and band the elbow 90 degree then rotate the arm left and right.. try it 3 days. If u r not getting relief then consult with physiotherapist or ortho dr.. thanks.. tc
