I have inverted nipples, one protrudes when cold. The other seems to not be there, instead I have lots of tiny tissue lumps that form a tiny crater in my areola instead of a nipple. The tissue small lumps often die and come away from the breast. Started after puberty.

As per your nipple problem, it seems not just inverted nipples, but may its smaller in size.
You should have to cofirm by physical check up.
Here we can not see it so didn't get clear vision and can not give you perfect guidance.
But we have seen such females with tiny nipples and it can be bigger in such amount while pregnancy and feeding time.
