5.6 is very low.
When was this D and C done?
And what was the indication for the D and C?
Have high protein diet and foods which are rich in iron.
Drink lots of water.
You need to take a iron and folic acid supplement also daily.
If you can eat egg, I would suggest you eat 2 eggs daily for a month atleast.
Tab. Livogen-z daily once after food for 3 months.
Spinach, apple etc are good sources of iron.
These measures will help in increasing your hb.
