Higher TSH level - 6.17
Is 6.17 muL/ml normal. Does it require aome kind if medication!!! Is it under control or should I look out for some natural remedies or medication.

Hi Most laboratories & doctors consider TSH levels upto 3.5 as upper limit, requiring medical treatment. Some of them consider 5 as upper limit. But I feel it is better to consult a doctor when the TSH level crosses 3 or 3.5 In any case your TSH level is higher than required.
