High IGE Allergies
Hello Sir, I have been suffering from dysautonomia related symptoms since few years and I am taking treatment from a neurologist. The treatment is symptomatic and I don't see any real benefits. Recently I have joined a facebook group called Dysautonomia that is run by Dysautonomia International Organisation. Some of the people who are part of the group said that "Mast Cell Activation Syndrome" can cause Dysautonomia. I have tested IGE levels and it's showing HIGH. My dysautonomia symptoms increase after eating food especially after eating outside food. From childhood I have chronic bronchitis and nasal congestion. Sometimes when I scratch my skin I get red rashes on thighs and arms. Is high IGE causing my dysautonomia? I have already tried Montelukast and anti histamine, but I didn't see any benefits. I also have sjogrens syndroms and I'm taking treatment from a rheumatologist. Are there any Allergist, Immunologist or any relevant doctor in this platform? I would like to consult.

Dysautonomia is due to sjogren's syndrome in your case. Treatment is symptomatic only. There is no specific treatment. Drink plenty of water with ORS everyday to keep your self hydrated. ( It helps) IgE levels are high because of alergic rhinitis. Avoid the trigger factors. Continue your treatment
Next Steps
consult your rheumatologist.
