Height issues
I am a 17year old female. And I am suffering from mild depression due to my height. My father is approximately 180cm tall (it runs in his family) but my mother is only 150cm (it runs in her family too). and I am only 153cm, my younger brother is 5 years younger than me but is way taller. Are there any hope of me getting taller? I hope I'll reach 165CM-170CM.

Your Final Height is programmed in your genes. We cannot alter it ( even by giving Human Growth Hormone Injections ) . We don't have any test to predict that either. At 17 years your growth spurt is over by now. But you will continue to grow marginally higher than what you are now till 24 years of age. There is nothing wrong with your height. The average Indian female is 152 cm high ( As per the ICMR-NIN statistics ) . So you height is exactly the national average. Don't get depressed, just cheer up and move forward...
