Hi, Speculum test is safe during pregnancy , nothing to worry. Speculum is used to open the Vagina not the Cervix. Mostly there may not be a need for internal examination as it can be treated conservatively based on history, however in case you feel you need a speculum examination kindly visit an Obstetrician only for this procedure.
