Goose egg on forehead from wearing a hat

I wore a baseball hat for a while last year and noticed that it caused a red bump on my forehead to appear, like a bulging vein. Now a year later that bulge is still there and I'm wondering if there is an easy way or any way to get rid of the inflamed vein bump. Looks like a goose egg.
