Foot index finger swellin
My mom hit her foot's index finger on door & though she doesn't have much pain the finger is swollen to almost double d size. It's been almost more than 1 month. Swelling is not going away. Please suggest. She has astroarthritis also.

Hi, sure u might consulted n had ortho surgeon's opinion n x ray done but note to scresn for Diabetes too.
As a primary thing to follow after each n every trauma we miss to apply ice for half hr to 2hrs on site will save 9 if stitch in time...

consult orthopedic surgeon get evaluated by xray ,it may be undisplaced fracture, it might require immobilization
