Eye infection caused to turtle

I have a pet turtle..a green turtle..i bought him in Belgaum and now shifted to pune recently.there he was used to soft water but here it's hard water..his shell dries up and eyes water continuously.Is that a serious problem?What is the main cause for this?

Let your pet live in a soft water... yes they do have such problems because of water... use Ro UV treated soft water or mineral water Which are soft in nature...for your pet...
