I'm using a doctor recommended Expectorant. I wanted to know the excess phlegm produced, how will it be expelled. Assimilated into the walls of the lungs and expelled OR Through my throat. Which means I've to try to spit out from my mouth every time i cough OR Out of the wind pipe and i can swallow in digestion system.
