Hello there..... Lift heavy objects carefully or avoid heavy lifting. If you must lift something heavy, always bend from your knees — not your waist..... An inguinal hernia isn't necessarily dangerous. It doesn't improve on its own, however, and can lead to life-threatening complications....surgery to fix an inguinal hernia that's painful or enlarging.
