Doctors concerned degree'
What is different between diabetologist and diabetology. .are both same ..concern about it bciz my mother after having regular medicines she has gain higher level of diabetes our family doctor has to change the doctor ..but we are unware of this degree please anyone help..

And most diabetologists have a fellowship instead of a degree. If you go by the degree then doctor with DM Endocrinology degree is a better trained than just diabetology fellowship.

Hello study of diabetes and related complications is called as diabetology and the doctor who gets qualified in this field is called as diabetologist first confirm what's the degree of your if he is physician or diabetologist der s no need to worry if not take a second opinion consult physician for further evaluation and treatment.
