Hi, i suffer from DVT, and am currently on blood thinners. I have been advised to stop smoking for life, due to the nicotine claiming to slow down my blood flow. My question is that will even one cigarette a day harm me? I know it does in general to everybody, but in regard to dvt, can just one cigarette a day cause problems? Because i am having a really tough time stopping and my doctors dont give me a straight answer.
