its the name of clotting factor 9 nothing to do with religion and country.... it causes disease termed Christmas disease, hemophilia B is an X-linked inherited bleeding disorder, usually manifested in males and transmitted by females when they carry the abnormality on the X chromosome. Hemophilia B is caused by a deficiency or dysfunction of factor IX (FIX) resulting from a variety of defects in the FIX gene. FIX deficiency is 4-6 times less prevalent than factor VIII (FVIII) deficiency...consult your doctor they will help you
