CT scan knee replacement
Hi Dr. Chirag Dalal, Actually I have checked online, it's not recommended to have MRI due to tod implant as it heats the rod while MRI. But would like to confirm if same problem is with CT scan. Or Digital Xray is OK. U want to diagnose the current situation of the knee. Puss fluid is creating on knee and gets lot of pain.

Hello.... You are correct,  that's why metal  is not allowed while taking  MRI..  Currently you are having  swelling  of knee  joint and pain..  First local examination is examination..  And get an x ray  that would  be sufficient..  If there is septic  arthritis, joint fluid has to be aspirated....
