Cortisol high ..dst test
My acth is 68 and cortisol 8 am is 25 which is high so doctor told me yesterday to take decdan 1 mg for cortisol 8 am blood sample . So i take decdan 1mg yesterday but today lab was closed at 8 am ...so i contact the doctor what to do now he told me to wait atleast 6 weeks for this test...why should i wait for 6 weeks for dst test plz clear my doubt

So whats the issue with you, have to know first. Acth & cortisol values have to interpret with the symptoms. Better to connect with a call for details discussion/ consult physician/ treating doctor for further advise.
