Had on/off fever since 11th Sept. Consulted Dr. got blood tests done on 14th Sept. Results for Malaria Parasite Antigen, Dengue IgM & Typhidot IgM were all negative but Dengue Ns1 Antigen was positive. The platelet count was 2,33,000 & Haemoglobin was 14. SGOT/AST was 44.59 in a reference range of 5-35 but all other parameters considered within an SGOT/SGPT test were normal. I had 2 spikes of 102 degrees F. fever on 15th Sept. I have NOT had any fever since then. Follow up blood test on 17th Sept. for Dengue IgM still showed negative; however SGOT/AST level is 84.22 reference range of 5-35. The platelet count dropped to 1,30,000 & haemoglobin now 14.5( note I have also had my period since 14thSept). No fever since 15th Sept. During days of fever, &now, no body ache, no issues with urine, no nausea, no headaches. The Dr suspects Malaria. Says no further tests needed has prescribed Rezatrin Forte. My query is this: The test is negative. I am showing NO symptoms. What do I do?
