Cat bite over the palm area with 1 inch.

Asked for Male, 24 Years

I got a cat bite on my palm on 31st march 2017. That night i got a tetanus and rabies shot done.. now my concern is how much time will it take to heal the wound? I dont want pus to be filled inside that.. i am seeing today is that white layer over the wound.. please i am worried help me.

Hi, It will take another 3-4 days to crusting...Healing follows a natural cycle and you have to just see that nothing delays it.. Factors which delays normal healing are repeated trauma, infection, poor immunity etc.. So consult your physician if you have any concern or if you start seeing pus etc..
