History of hypertension n diabetes from last 6yrs.. Recently experienced high bp 215/98 blurred speech n loss of appetite with weakness.. Medication for HTN n DM os on & off. MRI shows acute infarcts in basal ganglia. Chronic lacunar infarcts, ischemic demylinating changes in bilateral periventricular whitr matter region. Cerebral atrophy.. What should be the course of treatment n how fatal this condition could be..

Immediate admission to a hospital for bp control and other checks is required. This can lead to a complete cerebrovascular stroke causing paralysis. Dont wait..MRI is suggestv of age related changes too means the patient is elderly.. Get him or her a proper treatment at the earliest.
