Boxers fracture
I had a greenstick fracture on my pinky finger on the 5th metacarpal bone on my right hand. After 2 months it healed but it's a little bent and got healed. Fingers seems pretty fine. But at times rarely, I've pain ( very little pain). It just looks like a little bump. So please tell me whether it is something to worry about. Should I get a surgery done for this?.

Hi..... Conservative treatment of a boxer’s fracture is warranted in most situations where there is not significant fracture angulation and there is no significant rotational deformity. .... The long term prognosis of a boxer’s fracture is good. Although highly angulated fractures tend to heal, one may have decreased grip strength, which is rarely clinically significant. ... Consult orthopedician for further advice....
