Regular smoking and alcohol drinking can cause stomach ulcers. When the ulcer is deep enough it can bleed into the stomach and cause irritation and then induce vomiting along with the blood. Also repeated vomiting after consuming alcohol can cause tear in the stomach and cause bleed.
Next Steps
Complete cessation of smoking and alcohol drinking should be done. And it is advisable to consult with a gastroenterologist for OGDscopy and further management. Follow a bland diet without spices and chillies for a couple of weeks.
Health Tips
Prolonged alcohol consumption can cause liver cirrhosis and cancer. And smoking cigarettes can cause ulcers and lung cancer.
