Blood hemolysed
Hello, Recently I have given my blood sample for general testing purpose. It's a home sample collection. After a day I got a call from the lab saying that your blood has hemolysed and it will not used for testing purpose and if it is tested also you may get wrong results. They have asked blood sample again. Here, can you please confirm why blood sample will get hemolysed in blood collection tube? Can you please confirm what are the possible ways of getting blood sample hemolysed? Thank you
