Hi, The reason is hormonal changes. The pills you take contains hormones which inhibits pregnancy in early stages. This makes your uterus soon to enter into a phase of bleeding. Sometimes the bleeding is heavy, sometimes for longer time. Sometimes you may feel spotting in between cycles. Sometimes you may feel cramps. Having said that, it is usually expected post pill. Just an advice, use barrier method than pills.
Next Steps
It is usual process. Follow up as and when required. Not to worry much.
Health Tips
Be cautious coz no method of contraception is full proof. If the bleeding persists for more than 5-7 days or heavy bleeding for 3 days, see a gynaecologist.
