Black fire ant bite
A fire ant stung me two days ago on my arm...initially large bump of approx 5 cm appeared and nxt day my whole arm became red and swollen. I have taken antihistamine but of no use. Its been two days but symptoms are getting worse. My arm is swelled, numb, red and severe itching is there.

Hi there...I can understand your concern. When the situation is so severe, whom are you waiting for. You need to consult a dermatologist as soon as possible. It looks like you have developed a severe allergic reaction to the toxin released by the insect. If there's any secondary infection, it can lead to cellulitis. So kindly consult a dermatologist or general physician for further evaluation.
