Asthamatic
I am asthmatic since childhood. I use mostly duolin inhaler when required, but no other oral medications to control my asthma and to lead a normal life. My oximeter test indicates 99% oxygen levels but my lung function test indicates very shallow capacity of the lungs - only above 25 ~30 % of the normal. I want to if I stand a realistic chance of improving my lung function capacity?

Duolin is used in cases where the lung capacity is fair. yours has reduced to a lower level. We will need to do a proper work up for your asthma. And it will be managed properly. U can contact me on practo with your old and new reports.. also get a serum IGE level done.
