My father was facing a swelling at toes. This slowly rose to wrist with liquid/ pus developed at both joints. The swelling grew and recently it has extended upto neck resulting in severe pains, weakness, and inability to rotate neck even, these days. What should be the proper treatment at this stage ? Please guide

he needs to be investigated to rule out gout , rheumatoid arthritis, and clinical examination by an orthopedic surgeon is required.
