Angiogram and Angioplasty
Hello doctor, my grandfather underwent Angiogram and Angioplasty 10 years back. Now he is worrying that the life span of the above mentioned procedures were over and he is gonna die. He is a very active person. He does all the household duties from cooking to cloth washing. What is the life span of angiogram and angioplasty? Help me. Thank you.

An angiogram is a test done to understand the status of the Coronary Circulation, meaning study of the arteries of the heart and their status. It needs to be repeated only if there are symptoms like Chest discomfort or pain related to activity or otherwise.Since your Grandfather is physically very active and asymptomatic he does not need a test now.He should stop worrying and should enjoy his life
