Androgenic alppecia
My 16yrs old daughter is suffering from hairloss from last two yrs.We got her shaved as everyone said that shaving will help to reduce hairfall.After that new hair can be seen .But hairlength does not increase at frontal area.Hairlenght increase upto 6-7inch at back portion.But front portion hair keeps on falliy.Recently she was diagnosed wd androgenic alopecia.I have beey consulting a dermatologist from last one year She was prescribed 5%minoxidil at bedtime She was applying d same from last one seven months.New hair comes but again d same issue backside hair length increase.But frontal portion length upto 1inch.Now doctor prescribed Lonitab 2.5mg( oral minoxidil).But we are worried as oral minoxidil may cause some health issue One doctor friend told me that only minoxidil will not help.As this hairloss is becoz of DHT.So he asked me use finasteride..plz help...1)Oral minoxidil n oral finasteride are safe or not 2)hair solution containing both minoxidil n finasteride is good
