Wound on knee and finger joint

Hi my wife fall from scooty last week and got mild wound on knee and 3 finger joint when fall from scooty. It's been 4 days she is using betadine and few pain killer but didn't have much relief. Pain increase in night and little bit swelling. Can someone assist pls

Soft tissue injuries take about a week to heal and if the joints are involved more time is needed.If her pain is not relieved it's better to get an x-ray of the involved joints.

Please consult an Orthopedic surgeon in your area. An X examination should be done because X rays can see much more than what we can see. If there is no skin injury then there is no need for Betadine.

What medication is she taking for pain? Also can I see the wound? Where exactly is it paining? Is the swelling big? Is she having difficulty in movement? Is she having fever? Let me know..

Anti inflammatory and painkillers should be taken regularly for atleast 3-4 days to facilitate healing.
Next Steps
Incase of dirty wound, TT shot and a 5 day antibiotics course would be wise
