Hii...In lower wisdom teeth removal , swelling is common because of the trimming of surrounding bone covering teeth...It's just the after effect of surgical wisdom teeth removal..it's totally normal...it will get decreased in 3-4 days.. You should continue the medicines as prescribed by the dentist...Try to open the mouth wide little by little...You can do lukewarm saline water gargle after 5-6 days of removal..

If at tym of extraction some trauma is there then pain and swelling will last 4-5 days u can take some antibiotics and analgesic with antacaid

If it was a traumatic extraction, pain and swelling lasts for 1-2 weeks. Take antibiotics and analgesics as prescribed. Gargle with warm saline rinses.
