If a dentist can not visualize certain cavities he/she will advice an ☓ ray that will give a clear picture of the situation. Complete healing after a Surgical removal of wisdom tooth takes at least 1 month but pain would be related to tooth adjacent to one removed so let your dentist take an X ray first and decide.

Hi.. sometimes bone healing takes more time. So still there will be some pain in extracted tooth area. If pain is more then it could be cavity of next tooth for which you need root canal treatment. Regards

If u post ur x ray I can tell something. U would have done some mouth opening exercises after 2 days of extraction. There will be restriction in opening mouth after wisdom tooth extraction

We need to see your post operative xray for exact diagnosis and treatment plan.. Send it if u have it.... If pain is due to cavity then you have to go for root canal treatment...

First of all relax and get an x-ray done of that particular area. Horizontal wisdom tooth sometimes causes problem to adjacent tooth. Check out for any problem in adjacent tooth. Cavity or anything else. If diagnosed from x-ray then your demtist will advise you the related treatment plan. If everything is ok then only medications will do.

Your xrays will be more helpful for us to make a judgement about your problem.... nonetheless, horizontally positioned teeth, if not extracted for a long time, can definitely cause cavities in the adjacent teeth..... the healing of the extraction site should have been more or less complete by now and the pain most likely must be because of some other tooth... Many times the teeth adjacent to horizontally impacted wisdom tooth have cavity kindly get it checked and treated..the pain may be due to cavity..
