Hi,
Wisdom teeth usually erupt at around 18-21 years of age. So it is pretty late in the day for it to be erupting. What could be more likely considering the pain you are experiencing is that you are having an infection/inflammation in a partially erupted wisdom tooth. An ordinary eruption is not very painful.
Next Steps
I suggest you try to flush the area with warm salt water repeatedly (every hour if possible). This will wash away any food debris and reduce inflammation.Be sure that the rinsing is vigirous in that area so that it is cleansed.
Health Tips
Incase it does not subside you will need to consult a dentist who may recommend an xray for further investigation.
