Why we are not hungry after constipation? Is it because of excess gas? Or is it due to some other problem ? Can anyone explain?

It's not true for every constipation...some have good appetite despite of severe constipation but still many face indigestion or less hunger due to constipation. Gas is one of the reason. Constipation leads to accumulation of waste, which is a toxin for body and liver also plays important role in detoxification of body plus second stage metabolism in blood.. So during constipation load on liver increases...hence liver job for 2nd stage digestion becomes weak which will have impact on git level digestion i.e., digestion taking place in stomach and intestine. Generally in such cases there is a complain of fatty liver also
