White mucus in eye all the time..
Hello,
My mom is suffering from white mucus in eyes since 3-4 months. Last month had consulted online. Doc prescribed couple of drops (FML and olopat) It worked for a month and then started again after medicines were stopped.
Pls see photos for same. And advice.
At her age, it could be a tear passage obstruction,or an innocuous infection..

The condition looks infectious. You need to start antibiotic eye drops. Start moxifloxacin eye drops 6 times a day with regular cleaning of eye with Luke warm water. Also because the condition is persisting for a few months, it could be due to nasolacrimal duct obstruction. That can be confirmed by a simple test by an ophthalmologist, but only after active infection is over.
