Whether to get pain induced or not

Hi, I'm in 39th week of pregnancy, from 2 days I'm having slight pain in my lower back n lower abdomen.. today I visited my gync she said cervix is 2 cm dilated and is soft so u get admitted at night we can induce pain. But I'm confused whether to get pain induced or wait for natural contractions to start. Is there chances even after pain induced I may land up in c-sec?
