Where to apply diaper rash cream
Is it necessary to apply diaper rash cream regularly to prevent rash , or should it be used only if there is a rash.
Also which area should i cover with cream for prevention as once my son developed rash in the butt crack. So should i apply cream regularly there also ?
Diaper rash cream isn’t needed routinely
use it only when a rash is present.
For prevention: change diapers frequently, keep the area clean and dry, and use soft cloths for wiping. These simple steps work better than applying cream beforehand

Diaper rash usually come with contact with diaper ,so you can put all the skin area which is contact with diaper as thick layer . Cream is like rain coat in rain. Better to put after healing the rash also ;just now healed know..It will acts nicely to heal the rash and prevention.

Diaper rash cream should be used only when rash has developed. Don't use it to prevent diaper rash. Excessive use may cause contact dermatitis.
