Do test in the morning as you may be doing other tests too. Preferably fasting, especially if doing lipids.

Free T3 levels peak 4 hours after taking medication so taking medication before testing may show that you are overdosed. Again, for best results, postpone taking your thyroid medications until after your test.

1. No change in TSH levels, FT3 levels if you take or doesn't take medicine In the morning
2. Best time for testing Total T4, FT4 is in empty stomach before taking thyroxine or else 5 hours post tablets...
3. No relation with your periods.... and before or after food giving sample
