Already answered  honey tus is not effective. Ambrodil s syr 5ml twice n 10ml at night for five days or as required. Add Montek lc one at night for five days

You can take Benadryl cough formula syp, 5m.l. every 8hours. Get cbc done and share results. Also share details of your symptoms,  meds. Taken so far? Then I can help you.

Ascoril

Wet cough → need expectorant, not just soothing syrup. You can take Ambroxol + Guaifenesin syrup 2–3 times daily to loosen mucus. Steam inhalation + warm fluids help. Night cough may be due to mucus or acidity. If fever, breathlessness, or >5–7 days not improving, consult me for proper evaluation and treatment.

Ambroxolol syp.

That is used mainly for dry cough, for wet cough you will need something that helps clear secretions. You can take Syp Ascoril instead. However the question is why you have these symptoms in the first place. Please consult for further evaluation

For wet cough with night worsening and occasional chest heaviness, it suggests mucus accumulation with airway irritation. You can continue a mucolytic cough syrup like Ambroxol + Guaifenesin + Terbutaline combination (e.g., Ascoril-LS) 2–3 times daily after food for symptomatic relief. Take steam inhalation 2–3 times daily and maintain good hydration, as it helps in loosening secretions. Avoid cold exposure and lying flat immediately after meals, as it may worsen night cough. If symptoms persist beyond 5–7 days, increase in severity, fever, breathlessness, or significant chest heaviness occurs, a clinical examination is advised to rule out lower respiratory infection or bronchospasm. Consult a physician for proper evaluation and tailored treatment.
