My baby girl is 2 month and 3 days old...her birth weight was 3.5 kg Last month 14th weight was 4.4 kg. Today during hosp visit weight was 4.6 kg Is weight gain normal? Only breast feeding

Breastfeeding is best for baby. Do not have any doubts. Exclusive breastfeeding should be done for 6 months i.e. no other food should be given. Use your growth chart to check if baby is growing well. Remember that using different weighing scales can give you errors. If weighing scales are correct, your baby is not growing well Failure to grow can be due to various reasons and reason should be found and treated. But in no case breastfeeding discontinued or other milk added.

No ma her weight gain is on a bit lower side.. Plz do check whether baby is getting adequate breastmilk.
