Son born on 14.08.2023 VSD at birth -4 mm ASD at birth -7 mm On 14.11.2023 Effective VSD - 6 mm ASD - minor VEINS & ARTRIA: Systemic Venous drainage normal;Pulmonary venous drainage normal; PFO with L to R shunt;Dilated LA AV- VALVES: TV - MILD TR; MV -Moderate MR VENTRICLES :Dilated LV; Good biventricular systolic function EF > 60% IVS : Large PM VSD partially closed by TV; effective VSD 6 mm with L to R ; PSG 30 mm Hg GREAT VESSELS : Normally related, Dilated MPA and branch pulmonary arteries SEMILUNAR VALVES: AV : Normal, No AS AR; PV :Normal,Mild flow acceleration Others:No COA, PDA Seen, Left sided arch of aorta , No COA My questions 1. Can VSD size increase in size? 2. Doctor has asked us to go for surgery. Can we still wait for closure? 3. What should we do right now? 4. Medicines prescribed - Envas 2.5 mg, Furoped Solution 30 ml, C pink drop. Are these okay?

Hello,most likely vsd will require surgical closure,as signs of volume overload and pah are there …large vsd less likely to close …continue with the medicine for now…but surgery will be required ..

Follow the cardiology advice Can use the medicines now The upper limit for the size of VSD is 8mm If the size is in decreasing trend we can wait but here its not the condition Kindly follow cardiology advice
