Hello Age 57 Male How much vitamin d3 supplement require to maintain my current level of 50. No exposure to sun. Previous taken 60k for 8 weeks 3 months ago. Is daily 1000 ok or 2000 ok. I also do strength training 3 times a weak.

Ideally after 50 (menopause) you need calcium and vit D supplements in your diet to prevent osteoporosis... kindly provide lab investigations to start your doses.... Thank you

1000 k is enough and it is okay even if you don’t take it because 50 is quite good Instead of tablets just substitute it with natural sources by adding Cod liver oil capsules (do not take if you’re vegetarian) Egg whites Soy milk(will help you with protein for strength training)
