Vitamin D levels

2025-03-12 18:00:26
I had severe vitamin D deficiency with levels around 8.3 ng/ml. On taking a consultation I was suggested two injections (600000). After that my level has now increased to 37. Should I take any medicine to maintain that level?

Dear Patient, Your Vitamin D levels have improved significantly from 8.3 ng/ml to 37 ng/ml after the injections, which is a good sign. To maintain optimal levels, you may need a maintenance dose of Vitamin D3, usually weekly or monthly supplements, along with adequate sun exposure and a balanced diet. However, excessive intake can lead to toxicity, so the right dosage must be tailored to your health status. I strongly recommend a detailed consultation to assess your current health parameters and prescribe the most suitable maintenance plan. Please reach out to me via WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two for further guidance.
