Vertigo is a symptom just like fever. Vertigo can be a symptom of veriety of ear diseases and less commonly brain diseases. It requires thorough evaluation to identify the cause of vertigo and treat it. Taking Vertin for vertigo is just like taking paracetamol for fever. I will advice you to see a good ENT or a neurologist who has expertise  in treating vertigo.
