Continuous vertigo lasting for five days with symptoms of imbalance, vomiting with normal neurological examination and normal Neuro radiological examination is likely to be one of the following 1. Vestibular neuronitis 2. Auto immune labyrenthitis 3. Infective labyrenthitis 4. Other rare causes such as perilymph fistula, vascular causes, tumors of inner ear Treatment depends on diagnosis of condition If there is no hearing loss, Ringing sound in the ear then likely diagnosis would be vestibular neuronitis and treatment is mainly symptomatic using labyrinthine sedatives. This condition Is usually self limiting And within few weeks symptoms will subside
